How do I save a lender?
You can easily save lenders you've found that match your criteria, streamlining your outreach now and for any future opportunities.
Once you’ve found lenders that match your criteria, saving them can help streamline your outreach — both for your current deal and future opportunities. Janover Pro makes it easy to keep track of originators you’ve worked with or want to connect with again.
Step 1: Save Originators from Your Search Results
After you've reviewed your lender matches, you can choose to save all or some of the lenders you’re interested in.
- To save an originator, simply click on the little flag icon to the left of their name.
- The flag will change color once it’s saved, indicating they’ve been added to your favorites. Clicking it again will remove them from your favorites.
💡 You can save as many originators as you want — there’s no limit!
Step 2: Access Your Saved Originators
To view your saved list:
- Click on “My Originators” in the top navigation bar.
- This option is available from any page on the platform, so you can access it anytime.
From this page, you’ll see all the lenders you’ve flagged as favorites, making it easier to reach out to them when you're ready.
Step 3: Remove Originators from Your Favorites
Changed your mind, or just cleaning up your list? No problem:
- To unsave an originator, click the flag icon next to their name again.
- If the flag is transparent, they are no longer on your saved list.
- If it’s orange, they’re still part of your favorites.
This gives you full control over who stays on your go-to list.
Step 4: Best Practices for Using Saved Originators
While your saved list is a handy shortcut, keep these tips in mind:
- Use filters regularly: We're always adding new lenders to the platform, so reapplying filters for each deal ensures you don’t miss out on fresh matches.
- Favorites are great for repeat deal types: If you often work on similar transactions, your saved list can save time and effort in the long run.
- Stay organized: Keep your list up to date by removing lenders who may no longer be a good fit.
By saving originators, you’ll have quicker access to lenders you trust and want to work with, making your deal flow more efficient.
