# How do I update my public profile?

Your profile is more than just a formality — it’s your professional presence on Janover Pro.

Lenders will often view your information when reviewing deals, reaching out, or evaluating opportunities. Keeping your profile accurate and complete increases your credibility.

#### **Step 1: Access Your Profile Settings**

To update your profile:

- Click on **Profile** in the top navigation bar. This option is always visible, no matter what page you’re on.
- You’ll be directed to the **General** tab by default. (If not, simply click **General** from the menu on the left.)

This is where you’ll be able to manage your core profile details.

#### **Step 2: Add or Edit Your Information**

On the General page, click **Update** to begin editing your profile. We strongly recommend filling out the following:

- **Profile Picture:** Upload a photo of yourself or your company logo. This helps build trust and makes your profile more recognizable.
- **Title/Bio:** Let lenders know who you are, your role, and what kind of deals you work on.
- **Phone Number:** Providing direct contact information makes it easier for lenders to connect with you.
- **Address (optional):** You can also include your business address, if desired.

📬 *If you have Janover Pro Advanced, your profile picture, name, and contact info appear in your email signature and in your Offering Memorandum (OM), which lenders will see.*

#### **Step 3: Save Your Changes**

Once you’ve filled in or updated your information:

- Click **Save**.
- Your profile will be updated immediately, and all changes will reflect across the platform.

#### **Step 4: Keep It Up to Date**

- You can **edit your profile at any time**, so feel free to revisit it as your contact info, role, or business details change. However, to change your email address, you will need to contact support.
- The more complete your profile is, the better your chances of building trust and getting responses from lenders.

#### **Final Tips**

- **Add a picture:** A photo of yourself or a logo adds a professional touch.
- **Be reachable:** A phone number ensures fast communication if a lender is interested.
- **Showcase your expertise:** Use your title/bio to tell your story and attract the right connections.
